Ninth Street Collective will be at the 4th Annual Independent Art Book Fair on September 21 in Brooklyn, sharing some of our favorite professional development books. Stop by to say hello and learn more about our services. The fair is free and open to the public.

Melinda and artist Christopher Stout hosted "Art Church: Networking Social for Artists and Curators" at Residency Unlimited (RU) on July 31. Click HERE for an invitation to the October social.

Heather will host a conversation with artist April Marten on September 6 at Monica King Contemporary, and with artist Chalda Maloff on September 21 at Ceres Gallery, about each artist's practice and how feminism and/or being a woman artist has impacted her career.

June 2019

Courtney will be participating in a panel discussion on June 25 at the Core Club about how the art community can nurture and cultivate the next generation of artists.

Melinda launched an open call for a group exhibition of artworks inspired by the architecture of Louis Kahn. The deadline to apply is August 9.

Melinda will be hosting “Evening Red” aboard the S.S. Lilac on June 26. The event will feature the works of nine women video artists.

Shama is leaving the New York Times to pursue a creative strategy role at The Wall Street Journal.  She will be concepting and pitching integrated marketing plans for clients and is excited to learn something totally new!

Heather and artist Frances Goodman discussed Frances's sculptures made from "typically feminine objects" at Richard Taittinger Gallery on May 6.  Frances is included in Heather's book, 50 Contemporary Women Artists.

Audra recently completed a fiction residency at ChaNorth before heading to Europe; be on the lookout for upcoming coverage on the 58th Venice Biennale on ANTE. Mag later this month.

Melinda curated two exhibitions at Lighthouse Gallery in East Harlem.  "Insecurity: I’m Trying to Tell You How I Feel" was a solo exhibition by Aaron Krach and "Three Voices" is a group exhibition of works by Hollie Heller, Sarah Kurz and Ryan Sarah Murphy
