Shama Rahman (she/her) is a creative strategist at The Wall Street Journal | Barron's Group. She previously worked at The New York Times, where she was an associate marketing manager for the TimesTalks live journalism series and worked on branding, project management, partnerships and ticket sales. Before the Times, she worked in marketing at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. In her free time, Shama leads writing workshops for creative folks at places like The Wing, New Women Space, The New School, Commend and Mana Contemporary. She graduated from Smith College, where she studied Economics, Art History and Museum Studies, and is the youngest member of the Smith College Museum of Art's advisory committee.
