Planning Your Art Career

Designed to be valuable for artists at all stages in their practice, this workshop will focus on the foundations and guiding principles towards a successful and fulfilling career as an artist. Knowing that there are many different avenues to pursue in the art world, we will cover commercial and non-commercial art practices as well as aspects of self-promotion, self-advocating, targeting your audience and refining your personal style. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions as ample time will be reserved for a comprehensive Q&A session to address specific concerns and scenarios.

  • The workshop will be hosted on Zoom. Attendees will receive a Zoom link via email.

  • A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, America’s premier legal organization fighting for racial justice.
